Let Us Help You Grow with Confidence |
Having accurate and up-to-date data on plant and soil health allows us to provide the best products and services to our customers. That is why we work with you to test your samples before, during and after each season.
Growers, breeders, distributors and regulators, including confirming cultivar identity across the supply chain, informing decision-making for plant breeding and monitoring for somaclonal variation. Somaclonal variation is a particularly important application for this test. Over time, and especially as mother plants age, traditionally cloned plants can start to mutate from their original cultivar, creating undesirable traits. GenoVerde's testing allows quick identification of mutated plants—and our regenerate and preserve programs can help you return cultivars to their original expression. Soil and Plant Tissue DiagnosticsSoil and Plant Tissue analysis is used as a diagnostics tool to increase high value crops positive response to a fertilizer program and in turn increase a farmers income.
In our laboratory, the total elemental content of the plants leaves or petioles(leaf stem) are combined with a soil test program to identify which nutrients are deficient (or excessive) in the plant, while determining what factors in the soil may have caused the nutrient imbalance. Nutrients DiagnosticsPlant nutrient levels vary depending on the stage of maturity, the part(s) sampled, hybrid or variety and environmental conditions. Sampling earlier in the season identifies deficiencies in time to make corrective nutrient applications, if needed, to help reach yield goals and manage economic risks. Late-season samples tend to offer a “mirror into the past” at how sufficiently nutrients were taken up. This “mirror” can help you plan nutrient needs for the upcoming season.
In addition, plant tissue analysis is a proven diagnostic tool to help compare nutritional variances between normal and abnormal sections of fields. No matter the crop, plant tissue analysis is worthwhile to help determine nutrient needs. As crop values continue to rise, tools such as this and soil sampling are essential to fiscal and yield success. Balancing conservation practices, input use, and tillage to achieve optimum yield and plant nutrition are approached using a holistic point of view. |
